The side yard is large... and it's great to go out and pick your own bananas! Plant whatever you want out here and watch it pop up out of the ground. Behind the house is a large covered patio that still requires some finishing and behind that is a small shed that the owner used for chickens and ducks. Kind of self sufficient right in town! Luperon is a small and quiet Town on the North Shore of the Dominican Republic and noted for being very friendly. Basically at the end of the road makes the Town secure and safe. Looking from the back... of the property towards the road we can see that there is plenty of room to build a large garage or another house if so desired. Or one could always make a garden here or simply a large patio. This house is two minutes from downtown Luperon by motorcycle or car and certainly within walking distance. Luperon has pretty well anything that is needed on a daily basis with hardware stores, markets, general merchandise stores and specialty shops. Santiago is a major city and is about an hour away. Some very minor repairs and... painting of the complete house is required and if you are a handy kind of person you can easily do this work yourself. Otherwise there are a number of competent painters here in Luperon and labor here is very inexpensive. A little landscaping would make the world of difference here and being in the tropical climate flowers and shrubs grow like magic! Entering from the front porch there is a large sitting room adjoining the dining area. Further to the rear is the kitchen with a bar and serving area opening to the dining area.
